Live Barcelona Airport departures
The board above shows live departure times for every flight leaving Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN). Search by flight number, airline or destination to track your flight’s gate, terminal and status in real time.
When should I arrive at the airport?
Arrive at least 2 hours before a Schengen or domestic flight and 3 hours before an intercontinental or non-Schengen departure. During the summer peak and holiday weekends, allow extra time for check-in and security queues, which are longest in the early morning.
Which terminal does my flight depart from?
Check the terminal column on the board above before you travel. Most full-service and long-haul airlines depart from Terminal 1 (T1), while many low-cost carriers use Terminal 2 (T2). The terminals are 4 km apart and linked by a free shuttle bus, so confirm your terminal before heading to the airport.
Check-in, security and boarding
Online check-in usually opens 24–48 hours before departure. At the airport, drop your bags at the airline desk, then pass through security; allow more time if you are travelling with checked luggage or flying outside the EU. Gates typically close 20–30 minutes before departure, so head to your gate as soon as boarding is announced.
Getting to the airport in time
From central Barcelona the airport is about 30–40 minutes away by train, airport bus, metro line L9 Sud or taxi. Trains and the airport bus serve both terminals; always factor in traffic and ticket queues, especially during rush hour.
What if my departure is delayed?
The board updates with the latest estimated departure time as soon as the airline revises it. Refresh the page for the newest status, and check the monitors at the airport for gate changes, which can happen at short notice.
